Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the surrounding areas, South Valley Studios was started over 30 years ago by guitarist and teacher Scott Ferguson, drummer and teacher Steve Gustaveson (retired). Since the opening of their doors over thirty years ago, South Valley Studios has added renowned teachers Mike Dale (Drums and Percussion) and Mark Veldevere (Electric, Acoustic, Classical, and Bass Guitars). Their professionalism and high level of expertise was soon noticed in the community and soon students began to flock to them for instruction! Literally, thousands have learned to play the guitar or the drums by the professional teachers at South Valley Music! Many of those students have become professional guitarists, drummers and even instructors, some having even signed major record deals!

South Valley Studios is a conglomerate of independent musicians/teachers who work together and bring with them a love of their instruments, a love for teaching , and a desire to ensure that students get the best, most enjoyable, and most professional instruction available!
